Chandani Payala is the Sinhala version of “Eanada Manida” that was composed by Shyamalangan at the age of 12 and, later produced and recorded to be broadcasted in the 90s. The song was later rearranged and rerecorded for the 2004 BnS Album, Neththra music album.
'Eanada Manida', is the first song I had ever composed. I must have been 11 or 12 years old when I composed the song using a mini Casio keyboard.
A few years later I got my first computer and started sequencing it. The experience of expressing my music into layers made me think out of the box.
